Jeff Quinn
DVM
Dr. Quinn has been practicing at Canyon Animal Clinic since 1975. Dr. Quinn is also a graduate of Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine. He and his wife, Elaine, love living at the lake and are recent empty nesters. They share their home with their 3 pets, Mijo, Cry Tiger and Chuppy. Dr. Quinn enjoys gardening, golfing and photography.


Kirstin Hossalla
DVM
Dr. Hossalla grew up in Georgetown, Texas and always thought of veterinary medicine as a possible career, but was very involved in dance and drill team growing up. She went to Oklahoma City University as a dance major, but after about a year realized that she wanted to pursue veterinary medicine. After graduating from OCU with a B.S. in Biology in 2005, she moved to Stephen F Austin State U for a graduate degree in Biology. The graduate degree was interrupted when she got into Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine where she finished her degree in 2010. She was previously working in San Antonio as an emergency veterinarian, but is now excited to move to this beautiful part of Texas and to join the community! Veterinary medicine is her passion and she knows without a doubt, this is the right field for her, although she still tries to dance when she can! She has two cats, Schroeder and Dumplings, and 2 dogs, Mama and Leroy.

Karin
Receptionist

Karin has been a part of the Canyon Animal Clinic family since 2005. She and her husband, Ron share their home with an assortment of rescued dogs and cats! She loves to spoil her grandchildren! Karin takes care of the clinic family by making lots of yummy homemade goodies to eat! Karin also takes care of our beautiful flowers around the clinic!

Kacy
Receptionist / Kennel Technician
Kacy is a Texas transplant having lived all over the U.S. in Montana, Alaska, Oregon, Utah and now the lone star state! She has two adorable golden retrievers and they love to go on outdoor adventures! Kacy, Brynn and Jeter loved hiking in the mountains, swimming/surfing in the ocean, cuddling and watching Supernatural and are now looking forward to floating the rivers and stand up paddle boarding. Dr. Pepper is Kacy's weakness and Brynn and Jeter will never pass up a delicious treat!

Paytn
Receptionist / Kennel Technician
Paytn (AKA Crazy Cat Lady)  is married and has one cute daughter! Paytn has two rescue cats, Binx and Tink! Paytn recently adopted a Border Collie Mix, named Rizzo. She and her husband teach Ballroom Dancing and she choreographs for local student's dance competitions on her days off. Paytn enjoys to read and watch Disney movies! You will often hear her quote them! In her spare time, she enjoys traveling as a family in their camper!

Beth
Technician

Beth started working at Canyon Animal Clinic in 1980! She is also a familiar face to the community, as she has been with Canyon Animal Clinic for many years! She says she hopes to work here another 31 years to care for your pets! Beth is married and has 2 stepchildren. Beth is often times our comic relief here at the clinics!

Jade
Technician

Jade has been in animal medicine since 2007. She is originally from San Antonio and has recently moved back from North Texas. Her family is from Louisiana and since she also went to school there she is a huge LSU fan! In her spare time she enjoys staying active playing sports and catching any live concerts and sporting events she can! She has one daughter, a "pet" daughter that is, named Siarra!

Cheabon
Technician

Cheabon, also known around the clinic as “Chea”, started working at Canyon Animal Clinic in May of 2011. She has 3 dogs and 3 cats, that are all rescues. Often times, she is fostering various animals to help find them a home! Cheabon is married and has a beautiful daughter! She stays very busy with her family and Vet Tech school!

Jackie
Kennel Technician / Technician Assistant
Jackie grew up here in the Texas Hill Country and has been working in Veterinary clinics since she was in high school! Jackie has two dogs, a Husky named Lily and a Yorkie Mix named Ruggles! She also has 3 cats! When she is not busy at work or with her two children she is reading and spending time outdoors!

Tanner
Technician/Groomer

Tanner started working at Canyon Animal Clinic in 2011. Tanner started her career as a technician in 2001. Tanner also graduated from Southwest Grooming Institute of San Antonio in 1993 and is our groomer on Fridays! She has 2 four-legged Boxer kids, named Dre & Ryder. She enjoys spending her free time outdoors and especially at the lake. Dre & Ryder love to swim!
