Keith Leakey
DVM
Dr. Leakey graduated from Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2005. He was married to his wife, Megan, in 2006. They welcomed a baby girl in 2014. They have a schnauzer mix named Frannie, a beagle mix named Elbie and a King Charles named Pixie. You may see some of the crew roaming around the clinic to say hi! He enjoys anything to do with the outdoors, especially golfing

Stephanie Buntain
DVM
Dr. Buntain graduated from Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2013. She has been practicing at a mixed animal practice here in Texas the last three years before joining our family in 2016. Dr. Buntain is originally from Lewisville, Texas but has found her heart is here in the Hill Country. She has a Lab Mix, named Mia. You may often see Mia relaxing in the "doctor's office" here in the clinic. She is always looking for a treat! In her spare time she enjoys spending time with family and friends and traveling.

Linda
Receptionist

You can find Linda at CCAH as one of our caring receptionist! Linda has been married for almost 20 years and has three children, two of which are twins! All of her spare time is devoted to her children! Linda has two dachshunds named Rusty & Ruby and a Labrador named Lilly. Linda has also helped raise many FFA animals!

Alex
Receptionist/Kennel Technician
Alex has spent most of her career in Internet Tech Support but her father worked at a circus and so growing up she was always around animals! She has two dogs, Cosmo Kramer & Jace! And she also has a teeny kitty named Pyro who you may see greeting you at the clinics! In her spare time you can find her hiking with her crew!

Megan
Technician

Megan started working at Canyon City Animal Hospital April of 2011. Megan started working at an animal clinic in 2001 and would not know what to do if she was not working with animals! Megan has a Lab, a schnauzer mix and a beagle. She loves to spend her free time outdoors and spending time with the family!

Katy
Technician

Katy joined the family at Canyon City Animal Hospital in August of 2012. She has a Blue Heeler named Junebug & a Boxer/Border Collie mix named Gauge. When she isn't busy with Vet Tech School, her hobbies include riding and training horses. She also enjoys trainging dogs. She loves to spend any of her free time with her friends and family.

Chris
Technician

Chris is married and has 3 kids. She has two dogs. She has a Yorkie named Harley and a Terrier named MP. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family, riding motorcycles and traveling . She has over 30 years experience in the veterinary field. She has done everything from kennel tech to office manager!

Jade
Technician

Jade has been in animal medicine since 2007. She is originally from San Antonio and has recently moved back from North Texas. Her family is from Louisiana and since she also went to school there she is a huge LSU fan! In her spare time she enjoys staying active playing sports and catching any live concerts and sporting events she can! She has one daughter, a "pet" daughter that is, named Siarra!

Linda
Boarding Technician Assistant

Linda started at Canyon City March of 2011. Linda helps out wherever she can at the clinic - her favorite part is loving on all of our boarding guests! She has a Border Collie named Bo Shiner. She enjoys spending time with her family & friends in her spare time.

Isabella
Kennel Technician/Technician Assistant

Isabella has a Pit Bull/ Boxer mix named Mango! She also has a 6 year old Boston Terrier named, Bawstin. Isabella plans to gain experience and someday be an Animal Cruelty Officer. In her spare time she enjoys hanging out with family and friends and photography.

Becky
Kennel Technician
Becky has worked with animals for many years! You can always find her with some little soft critter in her hand caring for the wounded or needy pet. She has a crew of her own at home, a Bull Mastiff named Apollo and two dachshunds named Delilah and Sophie. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her husband and son at home doing outdoor activities and walking and running.

Anissa
Bather/Kennel Technician Assistant
Anissa is the Vice President of Student Council and FFA. She is currently raising a steer in FFA, named Alabaster! She has a family of 6 chickens, two dogs, two cats and a tortoise. Anissa plans to go to A&M for a degree in Animal Sciences & Veterinary Medicine. In her limited spare time she enjoys hanging out on the river and swimming in the lake!

Sara
Groomer
Sara is a second generation groomer with 12 years of professional experience! Sara has two elderly dogs and 1 mischievous cat that keep her very busy at home! Grooming is her passion and it makes her feel good to keep pets looking and feeling great! She is patient and kind to every new friend she meets!
