In order to offer you the best, all team members are required to complete a 12 month staff training and education course. Upon completion, the team member is considered “Canyon Certified”. Marsha has been a Veterinary Technician since 2002. She has experience in multiple aspects of veterinary medicine including general practice, emergency medicine and shelter medicine. Marsha has a genuine love for what she does and can’t imagine doing anything else! She is married with three sons, one step-son, one step-daughter and two grandsons. Her family also includes two furry family members, a 10 yr. old Schnauzer named Scooter and a 2 yr. old Schnauzer named Hunter. Marsha enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, outdoors, and live music venues!

Michelle comes to us with a passion for the medical side of things and has spent most of her time in the medical field. Michelle has a collected 30 + years of customer service and management - 15 of those years managing The South Texas Blood N Tissue Blood Bank. In her spare time, Michelle enjoys her 8 grandchildren, spending time on the ranch with the cattle and horses and gardening!
Nicole has a big heart for all animals! Nicole grew up having a lot of animals around the house and now enjoys life with her current kiddos, Shinner and Bailey! Nicole enjoys spending time with her family and anything she can do with her dogs! If Shinner and Bailey can't go, neither will she! She enjoys music and has played drums for 14 years.
Stephanie has been working in the veterinary field since 2014. Stephanie is married to her amazing husband and has two handsome little boys who love to play baseball! She is a baseball mom all the way! Stephanie moved to the lake from San Antonio two years ago. In her spare time she enjoys gardening, home remodel and spending time on the lake! Stephanie has three hairy kiddos; a Black Mouth Cur named Duke, an Australian Kelpie name Otto, and a Brittany Spaniel named Scarlett Rose!
Karin has been a part of the Canyon Animal Clinic family since 2005. She and her husband, Ron share their home with an assortment of rescued dogs and cats! She loves to spoil her grandchildren! Karin takes care of the clinic family by making lots of yummy homemade goodies to eat! Karin also takes care of our beautiful flowers around the clinic!
Lacey has over 9 years veterinary experience! Lacey keeps busy volunteering frequently throughout the Canyon Lake Community, serving on the PTA and soccer board duties. All of this on top of raising two very active, soccer playing boys! Lacey currently has three cats, 1 dog and 13 chickens! Ethel and Thelma are pictured here!
Jennifer started out working with animals as a groomer! She is now a retired groomer but gets her fix with animals as a receptionists these days! Jenn is a life long Texan and a proud Navy mom! Her daughter is a Nuclear Engineer for the Navy! Jenn says she loves working with a team that truly loves helping pets and their humans!
There is no doubt Olivia loves to be around animals! Olivia just returned from Ireland after fostering and caring for abused horses and ponies! She also completed her 200th Yoga Teacher Training with YTTC in the Dublin area! In her spare time Olivia enjoys gardening, yoga, riding horses and spending time outdoors with her camera.
Stephanie found her love for working with animals by starting out with Blue Pearl Specialty Animal Emergency as the Lead Receptionist Manager! She has a history with Early Childhood Education as she was a Kindergarten teacher for 16 years! In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her Retired Coast Guard husband and her 4 children!
Chris is married and has 3 kids. She has two dogs. She has a Yorkie named Harley and a Terrier named MP. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family, riding motorcycles and traveling . She has over 30 years experience in the veterinary field. She has done everything from kennel tech to office manager!
Megan started working at an animal clinic in Dallas in 2001 and would not know what to do if she wasn't working with animals! Megan has dabbled in a little bit of everything from boarding technician to hospital manager and everything in between. Her favorite part of the job is caring for the patients, helping clients, ultrasound, and teaching others. Megan has a Schnauzer mix named Frannie and a King Charles named Pixie. In spare time you can find her with her daughter and family!
Katy joined the family at Canyon City Animal Hospital in August of 2012. She has a Blue Heeler named Junebug & a Boxer/Border Collie mix named Gauge. When she isn't busy with Vet Tech School, her hobbies include riding and training horses. She also enjoys trainging dogs. She loves to spend any of her free time with her friends and family.
Keri is from Baton Rouge, Louisiana! Keri moved to Canyon Lake this year and is loving every minute of it! Keri has been a Veterinary Technician since 2003 and shares her home with five furbabies! She has two mixed breed dogs named Silas and Beauxdee and three cats named Sully, Shelby and Gordon. In her free time she enjoys camping, kayaking and spending time with friends and family!
Jade has been in animal medicine since 2007. She is originally from San Antonio and has recently moved back from North Texas. Her family is from Louisiana and since she also went to school there she is a huge LSU fan! In her spare time she enjoys staying active playing sports and catching any live concerts and sporting events she can! She has one daughter, a "pet" daughter that is, named Siarra!
Isabella has a few years under her belt in the veterinary field! She started out helping as a boarding technician and is now a technician. Isabella plans to further her experience and career by going to Veterinary Technician school. Isabella has three dogs; a Pit Bull/ Boxer mix named Mango, a Boston Terrier named Bawstin and a Pit Bull named Bohdi! In her spare time she enjoys hanging out with family and friends on the river and photography.
Hannah has two Great Danes named Dolce and Tilikum. She also has several reptiles, chickens and a frog! She currently studies Wildlife Biology at Texas State University and plans to continue on to study veterinary medicine. When she is not busy with work and school, she enjoys outdoor activities, especially with her dogs, and spending time with family!
Amy has been passionately working with animals since she was 18 years old. Amy has much experience working in shelters and animal hospitals. Amy has four dogs that are all deaf and understand sign language. Amy also has six feline friends. Amy moved to Canyon Lake in 2016 from Victoria, Texas and loves living at the lake! When she isn't doing the job she loves, or cleaning up after her zoo at home she enjoys spending her time sitting next to the lake. Amy also dabbles in a little painting with she has the time.
Chelsea started out in the pet service industry in 2003. Chelsea grew up South East of Houston on a small farm and raced cross country endurance on Arabian horses! She also has about 8 years of grooming experience. She and her fiancé have two French Bulldogs named Jdam and Lampy! In her spare time she enjoys fishing, boating, kayaking, shooting 4x4 - basically anything outdoors! Chelsea is also currently studying Health Science working towards a Nursing Degree.
Alexis moved to Texas in 2013 from New York! She has three dogs; a Siberian husky named Kojack, a Weimaraner named Titan, and a Whippet named Winston (Winnie for short). Alexis started in the veterinary field in 2015 at an emergency clinic here in The Hill Country. When she’s not at work she loves spending time with her fur-babies and her friends at the river!
Alex has spent most of her career in Internet Tech Support but her father worked at a circus and so growing up she was always around animals! She has two dogs, Cosmo Kramer & Jace! And she also has a teeny kitty named Pyro who you may see greeting you at the clinics! In her spare time you can find her hiking with her crew!
Olivia has been passionate about working with animals for as long as she can remember. She started out volunteering at local animal shelters, worked as a kennel technician, an adoption counselor at a no-kill shelter and has now been a technician! She has been a volunteer at HSNBA for the Trap, Neuter & Release Clinic and often takes donations to the shelter. In her free time Olivia enjoys doing anything outdoors, including hanging out with her Terrier, Dixie and her English Bulldog, Taz!
Tanner started working at Canyon Animal Clinic in 2011. Tanner started her career as a technician in 2001. Tanner also graduated from Southwest Grooming Institute of San Antonio in 1993 and is our groomer on Fridays! She has 2 four-legged Boxer kids, named Dre & Ryder. She enjoys spending her free time outdoors and especially at the lake. Dre & Ryder love to swim!

Jackie grew up here in the Texas Hill Country and has been working in Veterinary clinics since she was in high school! Jackie has two dogs, a Husky named Lily and a Yorkie Mix named Ruggles! She also has 3 cats! When she is not busy at work or with her two children she is reading and spending time outdoors!
Linda started at Canyon City March of 2011. Linda helps out wherever she can at the clinic - her favorite part is loving on all of our boarding guests! She has a Border Collie named Bo Shiner. She enjoys spending time with her family & friends in her spare time.
Anissa is the Vice President of Student Council and FFA. She is currently raising a steer in FFA, named Alabaster! She has a family of 6 chickens, two dogs, two cats and a tortoise. Anissa plans to go to A&M for a degree in Animal Sciences & Veterinary Medicine. In her limited spare time she enjoys hanging out on the river and swimming in the lake!
Kayla has always had a strong passion for working with animals. Kayla grew up in a small town deep in the heart of the Hill Country called Lometa and has always had a lot of animals. Kayla currently has a one year old Labrador Terrier Mix named Phoenix. Kayla's hobbies include going to the river and lake, catching reruns of the television show called The Office and taking Phoenix out for adventures with her boyfriend!
Matt has a passion for caring for animals! Matt has been a great addition to CanyonVet! In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his wife and their new baby!
Brennah 's love for animals started when she began working at a The Cat Shelter of Houston. There she cared for the feline friends by making sure they had clean bedding, food and love! Brennah grew up here in San Antonio! In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her senior dog, Mya, a Rat Terrier! She also enjoys floating the river!
Sarah moved back to the Hill Country from San Antonio in July of 2018. Sarah has a Snorkie named Bailey and a Bearded Dragon named Ivanka! Sarah has been working with animals since 2011! Sarah enjoys being outdoors, going out with friends and re-watching Parks & Rec episodes!
Sara is a second generation groomer with 12 years of professional experience! Sara has two elderly dogs and 1 mischievous cat that keep her very busy at home! Grooming is her passion and it makes her feel good to keep pets looking and feeling great! She is patient and kind to every new friend she meets!
Amber has been a professional groomer since 2001, however she has volunteered or worked with animals her whole life. Grooming is her passion because it brings together her love of pets and her passion for making sure they are healthy and loved members of their families. Amber is a mother of two boys, Alex and Dallas. She has 4 dogs that are cherished members of her family, Magic the standard poodle and 3 mixed breeds, Dragon, Dozer, and Nova. She has also worked with different groups to assist in rescuing and fostering pets in need of homes. Amber attends continued education about grooming multiple times a year to be sure she is giving your pet the best possible care. She is also Pet First Aid and CPR certified.
